How long does it take to open a business account in Estonia?
With wamo setting up a business account is quick and simple. Registration usually takes 10-15 minutes, our team will then review your application and might request additional information or documentation. It typically takes under 48 hours (if all goes well as low as 15 minutes!) to have your business account ready.
What do I need to open a business account in Estonia?
To open a business bank account in Estonia, banks generally require specific documents. These include proof of identity, proof of address, a business plan and proof of the source of funds. Requirements can vary, so it's important to check with your chosen bank for specifics.
At wamo, we will ask you for:
Your, your directors’ and your shareholders’ proof of ID and proof of addresses
Your company name, registration number and business addresses
Your company’s website address, or links to other online presence (e.g. social media pages). We're required to ask for this as part of our financial regulations to open an account. If you don't have any online presence, then you can let us know how you market yourselves instead.
