Terms & Conditions

1. Campaign Overview

This campaign is a limited-time cashback offer provided by Wamo Solutions Oy ("wamo"). It rewards eligible customers with cashback when they use their wamo Visa debit card to pay utility, telecom and postal bills.

Taking part in the campaign means you accept these campaign terms and conditions.

  1. Eligibility

This campaign is open to wamo customers with an active wamo account, both new and existing.

Eligibility is determined by wamo. wamo may include or exclude customers from the campaign, and may change eligibility at any time, at its sole discretion.

3. Campaign benefits

Eligible customers may receive:

  • 5% cashback on eligible utility, telecom and postal spend made with their wamo Visa debit card

  • Cashback is calculated on successful transactions during the campaign period

  • Cashback is capped at €100 per customer per month

4. Eligible Spend

Cashback applies only to card payments that the payment networks categorise under the utility-related merchant category codes (MCCs) selected for this campaign:

  • Electricity, gas, water and sanitary utilities (MCC 4900)

  • Telecommunications, including mobile, landline and internet services (MCC 4814)

  • Postal services (MCC 9402)

Each biller is assigned its MCC by its own bank or payment provider. wamo does not control how a biller is categorised, so a payment to a utility, telecom or postal provider that is not categorised under one of these MCCs may not qualify for cashback.

5. Cashback conditions


  • Cashback applies only to successful and completed transactions made with the wamo Visa debit card

  • Cashback is valid for eligible utility, telecom and postal spend only

  • Reversed, refunded, disputed or cancelled transactions are excluded

  • Cashback has no cash alternative and cannot be transferred outside the wamo account

  • Any abuse, manipulation or artificial transaction activity may result in disqualification


wamo may withhold or reclaim cashback in cases of suspected misuse or breach of these terms.

6. Non-eligible transactions

In addition to wamo's standard cashback exclusions, the following are not eligible:

  • Payments not categorised under an eligible MCC (see section 4)

  • ATM cash withdrawals

  • Temporary holds or pre-authorisations

  • Reversed, refunded, disputed or cancelled transactions, and chargebacks

  • Gambling and betting transactions

  • Card-receive transactions (e.g. refunds)

  • Inbound transfers to your wamo account

  • Outbound transfers, including fees and subscriptions

7. Campaign period

Cashback applies to eligible transactions made between 10 June 2026 and 10 September 2026 (the campaign period). Each month's eligible transactions are calculated separately.

8. Cashback payout

Cashback is calculated monthly, per customer, per month

  • The maximum cashback is capped at €100 per customer per month

  • Cashback is credited according to wamo's standard cashback payout processes and timelines

  • Payments are made directly to the customer's wamo account

9. Required actions

To stay eligible, customers must:

  • Maintain an active wamo account

  • Use their wamo Visa debit card for eligible utility, telecom and postal payments

Failure to meet these requirements may result in loss of campaign benefits.

10. General conditions

This campaign cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated

  • wamo's standard Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice, Fees & Pricing, and Acceptable Use Policy apply

  • wamo is not responsible for delays caused by third-party providers

  • wamo may modify, suspend or terminate the campaign at any time, at its sole discretion, without prior notice

  • All decisions on eligibility, cashback calculation and rewards are final

11. Governing law

These campaign terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this campaign are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Finnish courts.

Wamo Solutions Oy is an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) authorised and regulated by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) under registration number 3368055-9. Visa cards are issued by Wamo Solutions Oy pursuant to a licence from Visa Europe Ltd.
